A member asked:

Ive had feel-able submandibular, cervical and sub-mental lymph nodes for 2 years. theyve never changed and there around half an inch in size. i also have no symptoms of an infection or lymphoma. what may be causing these to be feelable?

Some thin people can feel small neck nodes, Ther being no change is a good sign. have a doc check it out for reassurance.

If you are underweight, normal lymph nodes may be palpable. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
