Palpable lymph nodes of size less than 1/2 in in diameter over the front side of neck is very common. You should be assured of very remote chance of serious illness. Unchanging size of the nodes over 2 years is also assuring.

If you are underweight, normal lymph nodes may be palpable. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
