I have reflux disease treated with omeprazole. 10 days ago i doubled the dosage to 40 mg/day after symptoms of gerd increased plus use mylanta max strength as needed. stool has turned light yellow over past weeks. is that a normal side effect?

Fecal discoloration is a post marketing side effect of Omeprazole but I could not tell if the change is dose dependent. Mylanta does not affect stool color, only causes either loose stool or constipation. Stool with light yellow color, if not from those noted meds, does not seem grossly abnormal though.
