37yrold. had severe acidity a week ago. my throat is totally burnt. voice is hoarse. ent says it will take time to recover. is it expected for voice to get affected because of acidity. should i get extra tests done?

What tests would you get done? If you had acid reflux, that can damage the vocal cords and it may take longer than you like for the damage to recover. If you are improving, it would be prudent to wait. If you are overweight, losing weight is imperative.
