After getting over a cold, i cleared my throat and coughed for two weeks. i felt hoarse and strain on my voice. i vocally rested for days, steamed, and hydrated. i still feel damage on my chords. should i see an ent?i think i popped a blood vessel.

Vocal cord strain: Yes: I suggest an ENT evaluation if you have already tried voice rest, zinc lozenges ( Cold-Eze) and warm water gargles. Black/dark brown honey ( about 1 tbsp) 3 times daily will also help.
