Can tmj jaw dysfunction cause one-sided headaches, a strange neuralgia behind the mandible, and ringing in the ears all day? this started as just an ear ringing, but now the jaw/head are involved. i wear a mouthpiece at night?

Certainly is possible that TMJ dysfunction can cause all of the symptoms that you have described. I think that it would be best to seek treatment with a multidisciplinary approach. Neurologist, Oral Surgeon, Dental Medicine might be necessary. I would seek advice, ASAP.
