Discuss your concern with your rheumatologist and/or your collaborating cardiologist. Kineret is approved for treating recurrent pericarditis. Plaquenil and low dose.steroids also are reasonable choices to treat lupus as well. The proof would be control of your symptoms without unpleasant side effects.
