A member asked:

I have lupus and luckily it's well controlled with plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) and life style changes. will it stay this way or is it unpredictable?

Unpredictable: I have seen patients whose lupus condition remained mild for years. However it is known that the disease is unpredictable in that severe cases can improve and mild cases can worsen over time. Your rheumatologist is best qualified to advise you, however.
