I'm in my early 40s and have been told i have cataracts in both eyes and slight focal photoreceptor layer atrophy. should i be concerned? i have well controlled lupus and am on plaquenil which has showed no toxicity on oct.

Follow the : instructions of your Opthamologist carefully! The cataracts should be "dealt with" when they begin to interfere with your vision significantly . Hope this helps! Dr Z
