A member asked:

I just had a non stemi- heart cath clean, echo normal, cxr normal, ekg sinus tach,. i am now having chronic chest pressure after the heart cath that is only relieved with nitro- it causes severe anxiety and sob, would this be angina or anxiety?

"Anxiety" in general, and possibly exaggerated by recent "non-stemi" may cause tachycardia and "chest pressure". See your cardiologist who may order a Holter counter to observe heart function over 24 hours.

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor, preferably your cardiologist. Wish you good health!
