A member asked:

Haven taken ciprofloxacin as documented in the urine test of scanty growth of staphylococcus spp after 24hrs of incubation under 37c. i still feel little itch on my body and see small white thing in my urine..what does this mean?

My impression is that you didn't have sufficient amounts of staph.in your urine culture to signify an actual urinary tract infection. We insist on a colony count of over 100,000 for diagnosis. White.objects in urine are usually from a vaginal discharge, stones or infection. If you have vaginal discharge & itch, a vaginal yeast infection is likely. Cipro won't help that. Discuss this with your MD

Scanty growth in a culture of urine is not infection ( which is greater than 100,000 colony c))unless there were urinary symptoms and cipro is not to be taken for it. Stop it. Pl drink plenty of water and if the itch is still there take OTC Benadryl pills for a few days.
