At your age, there is no further bone growth, only bone loss and weak bone can't be felt but loose bone may give you an insidious skeletal pain or discomfort. However, your girdle muscles may be weak with chronic steroid use which probably gives you the wrong impression of weak bone. You need a DEXA bone scan for detecting weak bone, i.e. osteopenia and osteoporosis, due to steroid side effect.
