If pulmonary hypertension (PHN) is secondary, treatment the underlying condition is the mainstay and if condition is under control, PHN can be stabilized and reversed. Primary PHN is usually idiopathic and there is no need to treat in mild case. There are treatments for moderate and severe cases of primary PHN. Sleep apnea should be ruled out in your case and asthma must be treated appropriately.
