Pulm HTN: Is a common condition that has many causes. Longstanding asthma and obesity could be the causes for u but there are many possibilities. Often, SOB and edema are treated with diuretic i.e. Lasix (furosemide) or spironolactone. This is a good discussion of pulm Htn, best wishes... http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/mobileart.asp?articlekey=1924&page=8
