Should i go to urgent care or emergency room? i fell on my ankle awkwardly and i can't put weight on my foot and i'm unable to put a sock or shoe on it without going through severe pain, having to move around hopping?

I would advise that you see urgent care or the Emergency room. The ankle injury as described is potentially a fracture. Advil or Tylenol are often effective in reducing pain. Avoid weight bearing and please have an exam soon. A virtual consult with Healthtap is also available, but most likely you will need an x ray and an Ortho consult.
