Stay at home mom , socks only most time.can it cause bunions on side of foot? what can i do to correct other than shoes w/ support?

Barefoot and bunions: Going without shoes does not cause bunions. If you have a biomechanics imbalance in your feet which will pre-dispose you to bunion formation, it doesn't matter if you wear shoes or not. The only way to slow the progress of a bunion forming is to wear a proper functional orthosis in the shoes. .
