A member asked:

I got diagnosed with iih in 2017. treated with acetazolamide which completely reduced optic nerve swelling so longer on medication. can iih cause constant dizziness? had normal ct scan last week and ears checked which are fine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Although constant dizziness could be secondary to medication, anemia, thyroid issues, etc.; but, certainly low grade increased intracranial pressure can be the culprit. Recommend objectification via a lumbar puncture, and if pressure is elevated, you should restart your Diamox.
