Diamox does NOT cause floaters in one or both eyes and would consider vitreous or retinal detachments a better explanation. But increased intracranial pressure can cause obscuration of vision if not well controlled, and your fluctuating use of the medication may be an explanation. Discuss this with your doctor and consider a visit with an ophthalmologist.
