31/m two days back i heard a crackling sound (like internally) slightly above my left temple while yawning. it was accompanied by slight discomfort/pain in the same area. sleep has been affected. should i be worried/on look out for symptoms?

May be TMJ temporomandibular joint . if you place your fingers right in front of the ear by the bump and open your mouth wide does it replicate the incident?
