Mild closed head injuries are very common and often result in local bruising or tenderness. There is no reason to worry if no progressive headache or dizziness, nausea or vomiting, visual blurring or doubling, weakness or imbalance. If this is causing undue emotional stress and fear of sleeping, contact your usual physician.
