A member asked:

I have swollen superficial lymph nodes at both sides of my jaw. they are unchanged after 2 years and are around half an inch. i have also began getting light heads when i raise my head too fast. could this mean i have waldenstrm macroglobulinaemia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No. If the lymph nodes have not grown in two years, you do not have lymphoma or Waldenstrom. You can watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
