Constant abdominal pains a year ago after colonscopy. had diag tests not picking up anything. dr not eager to do mri. had a sigmoidscopy in aug. all clear. gosh i'm in so much abd pain?. what's the way forward? mri or laproscooy? would the mri help?

Without more description of your abdominal discomfort, it's difficult to advise you. What does your gastroenterologist feel is your problem? Is he/she recommending any further evaluation or a differential diagnosis? If not, I recommend getting a second opinion from another gastroenterologist or from an abdominal surgeon.
