A member asked:

Can a shrunken caudate nucleus due to mold toxins 7% l side & 20% r side be restored?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Am perplexed: Were you exposed to "mold toxins", and why do you feel that this could cause caudate atrophy? If you truly do have shrinkage of bilateral caudate nuclei, would consider Huntington's chorea. Lastly, highly unlikely your structural brain findings can be restored. Do you have a board certified neurologist involved? ?virtual consult here at HT, where we can review imaging?
