A member asked:

Unilateral focal non specific white matter lesion adjacent to caudate nucleus, no change in the course of a year, how ofter should mri be repeated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Never: Why was the original MRI ordered in the first place? That said, a single white matter lesion that is unchanged over a year does not really need additional mris.
