A member asked:

I have been prescribed lisinopril with what i assume is pre hypertension. 10mg a day my numbers really vary since iv just now starting check over last two weeks. top could be in upper 130s to 120s. bottom is 75-mid 90s. is this the right direction?

Pre hypertension is a vague diagnosis. A normal average BP is 120/80. And if you are being treated it should be this or lower-most of the time. Do not assume- always ask your MD what are the findings and what is the medicine going to do and its possible side-effects. Pl do that. good luck
