My urologist gave me flowmax for frequent urge to urinate, unable to feel fully relived after peeing after prostate exam and said i had a tight bottle neck. im wondering if its caused by over masturbation and not ejaculating to finish after hours?

A prostate exam can't tell if you have a tight bottle neck, i.e. bladder outlet obstruction (BOO), it only reveals if your prostate is enlarged or not. An enlarged prostate (BPH) is the common cause of BOO . However, if you truly have BPH I am not sure if too much masturbation and holding ejacualtion are the cause of prostate enlargement. If you do not have BPH, you need a video urodynamics study.

Frequent urge to urinate has many causes. without a cystoscopy 'tight' bladder neck cant be diagnosed. Suggest stop flomax. Reduce your masturbation, avoid coffee, tea and sodas, drink moderate amount ow water. You will be better in a few weeks. If not see a different Urologist. I am sure you will feel better.
