Hi, had a normal x-ray of r.knee but still have an issue with knee buckling and loosing balance. what are the other causes? thanks?

Muscular, tendon or even neurological causes could be the culprits. Talk to the physician who has ordered these tests and continue the search for a diagnosis. They may want to refer you or do more imaging. Be persistent in pursuing a diagnosis.

Standard X-rays of your knee would be unlikely to reveal cause of leg collapse and loss of balance. Obtain a neurological consultation and uncover the etiology of your problems.
