Have taken zyrtec for over a year. recently added a claritin d 12 hour. got horrible dry mouth. stopped both about 40 hours ago. noticed having to strain really hard to urinate about 12 hr ago. is this a side effect too?

Antihistamines and decongestants can reduce urine formation and mouth mucus. I would use one or the other of these products but not both. Within a couple days off both, your system should return to baseline. If not discuss this with your doc.
