Nine days is too soon: it takes several weeks for the HSV blood tests to become positive. So your positive result has nothing to do with your symptoms. Anyway, "pins & needles" and on and off "tingling" are NOT herpes symptoms. Such symptoms can precede outbreaks of herpes blisters/sores, but by themselves are never due to herpes. Also, herpes blood tests aren't always reliable. Discuss w/ doctor
