Hello doc, aside from many laboratories, my only problem is that my laboratory test in protein is always 3+. i was only given ace enalapril 10 mg of my doctor. pls give me the advice how to treat this?

You need to see a nephrologist. Etiology of proteinuria needs to be defined then therapy can be more effective. Enalapril may reduce the proteinuria but it does not cure the disease. However, some renal problems can't be cured and not uncommonly we have to use ACE inhibitor drug such as enalapril or an ARB drug for just antiproteinuric effect.

Do not treat this but test for ;protein in urine properly using a Creatinine/albumin ratio. If this is still high discuss with your Dr.
