Had some stool testing. the fecal occult test in office was positive, but the fecal occult that was sent to the lab came back negative. doc said she thought it might be a hemorrhoid & didn't seem concerned. not sure if i should be concern or not.

2nd test: A positive fecal occult test can be positive even if you have no colon cancer if you have bleeding from other sources, such as a stomach ulcer, hemorrhoid, or simply blood swallowed from your mouth or your nose. Under these circumstances I think another fecal occult test may be a good idea. Also make certain you have had standard blood testing to check for anemia. I wish you well with your health!
