A 30-year-old male asked:
Two cbcs a month apart due to bone pains. wbc dropped from 6 to 4.2 (due to neutrophils dropping to 2.2). all other counts are normal. could this be a sign of leukemia?

I wouldn't place that anywhere but the bottom of my list of possibilities. This is not unusual after a viral illness. All such lab should be evaluated by the doc who knows all of your history/exam and testing results.
