I have a little bump on the center of my left eyelid that hurts. i can't see a head. i applied a warm compress and it stings --possibly i scratched on my sleep and caused it. i also applied a little bit of petroleum jelly on it. what else can i do?

If that bump is where the eyelashes come out, you probably have a sty. If it's on the skin between the eyelashes and eyebrow, likely you have a pimple. You did the right thing, keep apply warm compress every 4-6 hours for the next 2 days, no need for k-jelly.
