Chalazion: This is almost certainly the end result of a stye which your daughter's eyelid has localized and surrounded with a cyst. If small, these can be ignored but if large enough to be a cosmetic issue or an annoyance, it can be removed. Warm compresses applied diligently (4-5 times per day) may cause it to go away. It persistent or a problem, see an ophthalmologist for the next step.
