Would a 5cm adnexal mass be concerning after just having a cystectomy for stage 3 endometriosis. the mass was not detected during surgery and surgery was only 8 weeks ago?

If this mass was not present before the surgery by imaging test(s) or during surgery (direct observation), it is likely a post cystectomy collection and it should get smaller by time. If it causes symptoms, it should be drained.
