Endometriosis: Usually , endometriosis is diagnosed by pathology from a surgical biopsy. However, sometimes ultrasound findings may suggest an endometrioma which may be endometriosis which forms a cyst on the ovary. Many clinical decisions may be based on your symptoms as well.
