My eyes have been sore for a few days and it seems like i need my readers more than usual. smaller print seems harder to read than normal. other than that no vision problems. could it be optic neuritis?its both eyes?

You do not describe optic neuritis, but if your vision is worsening, urge a visit to an ophthalmologist to be thoroughly examined and deal with your current visual challenges.
