It is a nonspecific finding, not a typical finding in any cancer. We are more concerned about hyperglobulinemia with monoclonal type, i.e. monoclonal gammopathy.

Polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia usually is an indication of chronic inflammation. While it is not likely to be cancer, but it still needs to be investigated, depending on other health issues. All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests.
