When can we expect oral hpv tests? yes there is no treatment but still if there was an efficient test people with high risk strains could be more aware and monitoring better incase it evolves to cancer?

It isn't certain such testing ever will be routinely available or recommended, or that it would help prevent cancer. A big problem is that a negative test never is proof HPV is absent. Only one HPV type (HPV16) really is important as a cause of pharyngeal cancer. Vaccination probably is the best option. Fortunately, although pharyngeal cancer due to HPV is rising, it remains rare.
