On trip a week ago i wore sun hats and glasses constantly that made my ears sore. scalp sensitive and had a pimple inside right ear. now i notice i have a swollen lymph node behind that ear but irritation/pimple gone. no other symptoms. of concern?

It is likely a reactive lymph node (post auricular). Just observe it for now, the size should slowly get smaller and it often disappear after 7-10 days. Rarely, the node will get small, no longer tender but it persists.
