A member asked:

Eos absolute was noted as high (.7), nrbc result noted as high (1), albumin noted high (5.2), and a/g ratop noted high (2.7). being referred to hemotologist. is this the right course of action?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, there is no harm in getting an opinion from an expert. Wish you good health!
