A member asked:

When i gulp air, eat or drink something, my left colon would make this gurgling sound. im always gassy too. even in sleep my left side would rumble or make farting sound. pooping would make the symptoms less. what is it?

Such noises ate the movement of air you swallow/carbonation released, and gasses created by gut germs feeding on intestinal debris. As collections of these plus fluid move, they will make noise. By itself it is a normal activity, not a disease. To decrease this, avoid carbonated beverages, take some probiotics & keep a food diary to identify foods that aggravate the issue.
