When i gulp air or drink or eat, within a few secs, i hear left side of the stomach gurgling. happens often, esp when hv anxiety episodes. stool daily, always long but sometimes a bit softer than usual. is there a blockage in my colon causing sound?

Rest assured, if there were a blockage, you would not be having normal BMs. The gurgling may result from the air you have swallowed or from liquids moving. Try to gulp less air, and chew your food thoroughly. Gas from foods can be relieved with OTC gas relievers.

It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water.
