An appointment would be preferable with a doctor that specializes in weight management. There are many factors that contribute to weight gain including sleep, stress, drugs, movement patterns, meal timing, and hormonal dysfunctions. Diet must be tailored to the individual’s tastes, but in general consuming a diet high of minimally processed plant foods & lean protein is a good first step.
