My mother is in menopause.she is 54 and she did blood test and her fsh level is 50.50 lh level is 37.20 but she still get period but irregularly her period started getting irregular 2 years ago and since that time she got period 2 or 3 times

Peri menopause: At age 54 your mother is in a phase of peri menopause, where hormone regulation of her waning period is "spotty" or irregular at best before the "tap " is shut off. However, sometimes other GYN conditions are masked by this process like endometrial cancer or uterine fibroids. Have your mother see her GYN MD and make sure that it is in fact just peri menopause and not something else.

Likely perimenopause: Moms' still going through a normal progression, cant' say officially menopause until no cycles for one year. Any other symptoms? , if bad she may be a candidate for hormone replacement therapy.
