Can buspirone help a taper off of clonazepam .5mg from long term use?

If you prefer buspirone, a non-scheduled drug, for anxiety instead of a scheduled IV drug like clonazepam, you can switch but if you do not want any medication, you should wean off clonazepam by tapering the dose to every other day then every third day then as needed only.
