Abrupt withdrawal: from Klonopin can cause seizures. Buspar (buspirone) when used with antidepressants can cause serotonergic syndrome. You need to contact the physician supervising the nurse and advise them of your situation. This was probably an over-site. Go to the ER ( I would call ahead to make sure they can address your situation) if you are having problems coming off the Klonopin. I would taper down to 1/4 mg before d/c

Withdrawal: Call the NP and describe what you are experiencing and have her communicate with the psychiatrist or direct you to the psychiatrist directly. Don't delay. If not able to contact them go to an ER and bring their phone numbers with you. The ER doctors will, in all likelihood, want to chat with the prescribing health care professional. Hope you are better soon.

Talk to psychiatrist: You need to contact the psychiatrist immediately on how best to taper off Klonopin (clonazepam).

Talk to the NP: it is never appropriate to abruptly discontinue benzodiazepines in anyone who has been taking them regularly for any significant period of time (even several weeks) in doses adequate to cause physical dependency. NP's in most areas are supposed to have a collaborative physician they work with, and you could ask her to run it by that person. Otherwise, go see somebody else ASAP.

Speak 2 ur provider: Buspar (buspirone) is an anti anxiety medication that takes a couple of weeks to work and it is not going to prevent any physiological withdrawal symptoms from Klonopin. You need to speak with your health care provider and if necessary get a second opinion from a physician.
