My 76 yr old mother just had quadrouple bypass wed basically 2 days ago , she is not fully waking up , not eating, drinking weight bearing, or speaking but 1 word or 2 words high bp diabetics angina stints what could cause this?

CABGx 4 coronary arteries in a 76-year-old diabetic with prior stent is a profound event that carries enormous risk and must have been the only possibility for survival. They would have cooled her down, stopped her heart, placed her on a machine that oxygenates and pumps her blood, and grafting four vessels takes time. Be encouraged she can talk at all because every min now is a miracle.

Electrolyte imbalance would be my first concern. I assume she could do these things before bypass. Discuss with her Drs.
