Is hydroxyzine safe to take daily? i use it for occasional panic attacks, but have been taking it daily for the last 3 weeks, due to stress.

Hydroxyzine: It is an antihistamine which may cause sedation, drowsiness, changes in blood pressure, dryness, exacerbate narrow angle glaucoma or urinary retention, may interact with other medications but in general is safe.

Atarax (hydroxyzine): Using Atarax (hydroxyzine) prn (as needed basis) is safe if it is working & is prescribed by your physician.
