A member asked:

Feeling like mucus stuck in eustachian tubes since ear infections. wont equalize. have had this for 11 months. can sinus rinse get into eustachian tubes if overused and cause inflammation and will eustachian tubes clear on their own?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The Eustachian tubes are connected to the back of the throat. Nothing you put in your nose will reach these tubes. The tubes generally return to normal health & function when all irritation triggered by infection or allergy has resolved.
